Job Title: Personal Support Worker Clinical Supervisor
Location: On-site, at a Nursing Home- Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village (413 Linwell Rd, St. Catharines, ON, L2M 7Y2)
Hours: Part-time, varied days/hours between Monday to Friday, either 6:00 am -2:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Flexibility required.
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr
The Opportunity:
The PSW Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision and mentoring for students completing their Clinical Placement in the classroom/workplace setting in order for students to gain experience in a wider range of Personal Support Worker skills.
The PSW Clinical Supervisor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
What you bring to the role:

Must be a Personal Support Worker with a college NACC certificate OR Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Minimum of two (2) years of current, relevant work experience in a healthcare environment - preferably in a long-term/chronic care setting or with a community care agency.

Previous teaching experience is considered an asset.

Demonstrated leadership skills including supervision, motivation, and facilitation are preferred.

Superior communication and organizational skills will be essential to success in this role.

Travel is required for community placement.
This position is for an existing vacancy.
