Hours & Compensation

Permanent Full-Time 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Rotating shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $29.62 per hour (based on current funding)
Benefits: Extended Health and Dental Benefits | Registered Pension Plan (4.5% Employer contribution) | Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) | Paid Sick Time | Life Insurance | Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

You will guide and supervise learning opportunities based on children’s interests and foster cooperative social behaviours through games and group projects to support developmentally appropriate relationships with other children and adults. Previous experience working with children
Knowledge of and familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act and use of environmental assessment tools.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff, parents, children, and the public.

Registered Early Childhood Educator Diploma (and College registration #)
Current Vulnerable Sector Check document
Standard First Aid and CPR Level-C certification
