We are currently looking for a Parts Counter Sales Representative at Penner Farm Services, a subsidiary of Agrihub Inc., for its Blumenort, Manitoba location. This is a full-time, permanent position. The Parts Counter Sales Representative is responsible for providing prompt, friendly and professional service for in-store customers and generating and following up on leads to advance the sales process, closing new business.

What you'll do:

Responsible for prompt, friendly, professional service for in-store customers as a priority, working efficiently, minimizing wait times by ensuring the front counter is always staffed.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of our products, services, and policies, and successfully selling our features over competitive brands.
Customer needs and requirements and how our product can service their needs;
Contact sales leads through telephone and email, cold calling as necessary;
Generate interest from potential customers through promotional offerings and providing product information;
Successfully problem solve by listening to customer concerns, investing time & patience to learn solutions to common product/customer issues.
Invoice and prepare products for customer orders;
Stock store shelves and create product displays;
Load and unload product for customers and other transportation services.
Learn the various parts manuals to assist customers with parts related questions. This will require working as a team, learning from vendor resources, experienced staff, and any personal farm equipment experience.

What you'll need:

Minimum Grade 12 education;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Self-motivated with high energy and enthusiasm;
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel;
Demonstrated knowledge of agricultural equipment and related environments and working conditions; Previous experience in the agriculture industry is preferred;
Mechanical aptitude;
Ability to work well under pressure and meet set targets.
