We are looking for a self-motivated, resourceful and target-oriented Recruiting Specialist to join our team in Steinbach, MB.

Responsibilities:

Source and select prospective applicants for professional driving positions and provide information about pay packages, benefits, equipment, hiring and training processes.
Field inquiries from prospective applicants via telephone, email, social media applications and in person.
Continually promote the company positively to both the candidates and the current drivers, be present at company events and be a positive ambassador.
Process applications in accordance with regulations and company policy, including reference checks, interviews, and employment verification.
Review and evaluate driver applicants and provide information on orientation and training.
Make travel arrangements and accommodations for new driver hires.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality with applicant personal information and legal documentation.
Foster a relationship with new drivers and encourage their participation in referral program.
Collaborative efforts to compare recruitment strategies and training efforts to ensure we are competitive and innovative.
Partner with department to schedule road tests and receive feedback for candidates
Social media branding, creative posting, management of communication on platforms.
International Drivers Settlement Assistance

REQUIREMENTS:

Detail orientated
Team player
Organized and works effectively under pressure
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience preferred
International recruiting experience a plus
Transportation specific experience a plus
