Under the for staff screening and police record checks;
Employees [DECEs, EAs, CYWs] working in licensed child care programs are required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check issued by a Police Service on or before every fifth anniversary after the date of the most recent vulnerable sector check. In addition, employees are required to complete an annual offence declaration (annually recorded through the WRDSB staff portal). Educators working in Before and After School Programs are required to complete a request for VSC through your local police service [available online] and submit your original electronic copy to [email protected] for review.
Employees are required to have a valid first aid and CPR certificate and or be registered to update their training within the year.
It is the responsibility of interested candidates to ensure that their application, including a resume and a copy of a current Certificate of Qualification is submitted through Apply to Education. Candidates are asked not to contact schools directly, either by phone or email. Your co-operation is appreciated.
