Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within industrial and construction environments. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, safety-conscious, and possess foundational skills in electrical work. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced electricians to develop technical skills, understand schematics, and contribute to various electrical projects. This role is essential for individuals looking to build a career in the electrical trade with potential for growth and professional development.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial and construction settings.
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and component installation.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
Work on low voltage systems including control wiring and signal wiring.
Support the setup and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Learn proper techniques for blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical code compliance.
Follow instructions carefully while progressively taking on more complex tasks under supervision.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical systems or related construction experience is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is advantageous.
Strong interest in developing skills as an industrial electrician or electrician apprentice.
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams is a plus.
Willingness to learn low voltage wiring techniques and safety procedures.
Prior construction experience or experience working with power tools is essential.
Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently and work effectively as part of a team.
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
