Dunkley Lumber Ltd. is a respected family-owned company headquartered in Strathnaver, just 75 km south of Prince George, B.C. We operate a modern and efficient dimension sawmill and planermill producing high-quality lumber products sold across North America and in overseas markets. Additionally, Dunkley operates sawmill facilities in Grande Cache, Alberta, and Carrot River, Saskatchewan.

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Reception & Office Administrator to join our office team. This full-time position is based out of our Strathnaver location, which serves as a central hub for our regional operations.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced front office role that requires a strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt throughout the day. The successful candidate will be confident managing competing requests, supporting multiple departments, and maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism in a busy environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls and general inquiries in a professional and efficient manner
Greet and assist visitors while maintaining a well-organized and welcoming front office
Provide administrative support across multiple departments, including data entry, reporting, and general coordination
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and assist with document preparation
Support day to day office operations, including ordering supplies, coordinating deliveries, and helping ensure the office runs smoothly
Respond to requests that arise throughout the day from various team members and supervisors in a timely and organized manner
Cross-train and provide backup support for other administrative roles as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Minimum of two years of experience in an office or administrative role
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proven ability to stay organized and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative

This position offers a competitive wage and benefits program, along with opportunities for growth within an industry leading company. The expected salary ranges from $51,000 – $58,000, depending on skill and related experience.
