We have an opportunity on our Operations Team for a Facilities Team Member & Bus Driver .
This role will commence on August 31, 2026, and will be a full-time role of 35–40 hours per week with a 6:30 am start time when school is in session, September through June.

Aberdeen Hall provides
Competitive Compensation at an hourly rate of $26 to $30, inclusive of vacation pay and commensurate with experience

Position Summary
The Facilities Team Member & Bus Driver is a dual-responsibility role critical to the daily operations, safety, and community experience of Aberdeen Hall. This position splits time between providing safe, reliable student transportation (including daily morning routes, field trips, and athletic events) and maintaining a clean, safe, and fully operational campus environment.
The successful candidate is a flexible team player who takes pride in a well-run facility, prioritizes student safety above all else, and models the school’s core values in all interactions with students, staff, and families.
Success factors
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience operating buses or passenger-directed commercial vehicles
Valid BC Class 2 Commercial Driver’s License with an active Air Brake Endorsement.
Previous experience working with or driving children and youth, with a natural ability to create a safe, positive, and respectful bus environment.
A clean driving record (Valid BC Class 2 license with a clean ICBC commercial driving abstract).
Valid WHMIS Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Cleared BC Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check)
Valid Basic First Aid certificate with CPR Level C.
Strong organization, punctual time management, and sharp attention to detail.
Positive, flexible, and team-oriented attitude with an understanding of school community dynamics.
