Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant/Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. This role requires a strong focus on cleanliness, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Prior hotel or custodial experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where professionalism and hospitality are valued.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
Make beds, change linens, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Restock minibar items, amenities, and other guest supplies as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Provide courteous service to guests, addressing any special requests or concerns professionally

Qualifications

Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
Good communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching
Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus but not necessary

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
