Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team at Patiköy. This role is perfect for someone passionate about caring for dogs and ensuring their well-being in a safe, clean, and fun environment. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will supervise group play, ensure the cleanliness of our facility, and provide exceptional care to every dog in our daycare.
Responsibilities
- Manage check-ins and check-outs for dogs, ensuring excellent customer service for pet owners
- Supervise and engage with dogs in group play settings, ensuring safety and positive behavior
- Monitor dogs for any signs of distress, illness, or injury and report to management
- Clean and maintain daycare areas, including play areas, kennels, and resting spaces
- Feed, administer medication, and provide basic care for the dogs as needed
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, ensuring the facility is spotless and upholds our high hygiene standards
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks such as floor cleaning, addressing accidents, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day
- Maintain a fun, positive, and safe environment for all dogs in your care
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a dog daycare, pet care facility, or similar role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners, both in person and over the phone
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and managing large dogs
- Passion for working with animals, ensuring their safety and happiness
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks, such as greeting customers, maintaining the facility’s cleanliness, and overseeing the dogs
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment at all times
- Must live within a 25-minute walking distance to the facility
- Must be able to close the store, ensuring all tasks such as cleaning and securing the facility are completed before leaving
Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
