Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our team in Sussex. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace faulty parts and components, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
May provide mentorship to junior technicians or apprentices.
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Red Seal Certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

$30+ per hour with the exact amount based on years of experience
$200 Tool Allowance Per Year
$200 Yearly Boot Allowance
