Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Casual) to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes workplace safety, and works effectively alongside a collaborative team. This is a casual position with the strong potential to transition into a full-time role.

Duties

In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming shipments, organizing stock, and accurately preparing customer orders for dispatch. You will play a key role in keeping our supply chain moving smoothly while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

Job Tasks

Receiving: Offload delivery trucks, inspect incoming items for damage, and verify item counts against packing slips.
Stowage: Unpack materials and store inventory systematically on designated shelves, racks, or pallets.
Picking: Retrieve items specified on digital work orders or paper picklists accurately from the warehouse floor.
Packing: Wrap, box, label, and securely prepare customer orders according to quality standards.
Inventory Control: Scan products into the warehouse management system and participate in routine cycle counts.
Equipment Operation: Safely use pallet jacks and forklifts to transport goods

Qualifications

Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred
Basic familiarity with computers, hand-held RF inventory scanners, or orderpicking software.
Strong attention to detail, basic mathematical skills for accurate counting, and clear verbal communication skills.

Experience:
Prior experience in a distribution center, manufacturing facility, or warehouse setting is a strong asset.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently
Experience with order picker, load & unload, shipping & receiving processes
Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is advantageous
Strong attention to safety procedures when operating heavy equipment
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision

Varying shifts depending on downtime
