GroundWorks Safety Systems is looking for a Trench Safety Applications Specialist to join our team in Innisfail, Alberta.
Contractors across North America are contacting us, looking for expert guidance on trench safety applications. They need someone who understands underground construction, can speak their language, and help them find the safest and most effective solution for their project.
As demand for our trench safety system continues to grow, we are looking for someone who can become a trusted technical resource for our customers.

You may be a:
- Underground Construction Project Manager
- Civil Construction Project Manager
- Utility Construction Manager
- Underground Estimator
- Civil Engineering Technologist with significant field experience
- Construction Superintendent looking to transition into a more office-based role
You have practical underground construction experience and enjoy helping people solve problems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Answer customer inquiries from contractors across North America
- Review project requirements and understand the trench safety challenges
- Develop trench safety recommendations
- Work with customers to identify safe and efficient solutions
- Support our sales team with technical expertise
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, project managers, and safety professionals
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and production teams
- Become a subject matter expert on GroundWorks trench safety
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of underground construction methods
- Experience with trench safety, utilities, water and sewer, or civil construction
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work professionally with customers and internal teams
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in an office-based environment
- Proficiency with computers and modern business software

Pay: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Innisfail, AB T4G 1P9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Underground Construction : 3 years (required)
