Full job description

Position Overview

F45 Training LaSalle is looking for an energetic, reliable and knowledgeable Group Fitness Coach to lead engaging classes and provide members with a high-quality training experience.

This role is primarily for afternoon and evening availability from approximately 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, including studio setup for the following day. Some weekend availability may also be required.

Responsibilities

Coach safe, energetic and effective group fitness classes with approximately 2–36 participants.
Demonstrate exercises and provide clear coaching cues, regressions and progressions.
Give members individual guidance on proper form and technique within a group setting.
Modify exercises for injuries, limitations, fitness levels and individual needs.
Motivate members and create a positive, inclusive training environment.
Conduct fitness assessments and help members understand their progress.
Provide general nutrition, accountability and lifestyle support during F45 Challenge periods.
Monitor member progress and provide appropriate training recommendations.
Stay familiar with current studio programs, promotions, events and member offerings.
Assist with studio setup, organization and equipment reset.
Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic training environment.
Communicate professionally with members, coaches and studio management.

Qualifications

Current recognized Personal Training or Group Fitness certification, such as CanFitPro, NASM, ACE, ACSM or an equivalent certification.
Current CPR/AED certification.
Strong understanding of exercise technique, anatomy, physiology and safe training practices.
Confident coaching groups with different fitness levels and abilities.
Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, organized and able to take initiative.
Comfortable creating energy, motivating members and providing constructive feedback.
Customer-service focused and passionate about helping people reach their goals.
Previous personal training or group fitness coaching experience is preferred.

Availability

Applicants must be available for some of the following:

Monday to Friday afternoons and evenings
Approximately 4:00 PM–8:30 PM
Weekend shifts as needed
Studio setup following evening classes

Experience

Personal training or group fitness coaching: 1 year preferred

Licence/Certification

Certified Personal Trainer or recognized Group Fitness Certification: required
