Elite Tours of Niagara Falls is now Shuttle Drivers! Elite Tours is a tour company that works within Fallsview Group's hotels and restaurants. These include the Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview, Wyndham Grand Fallsview, DoubleTree Resort & Spa, Wyndham Garden Fallsview, Ramada Near the Falls, and The Tower Hotel.
We are currently seeking Shuttle Bus Drivers to shuttle guests and employees to their destinations within our 1 KM "loop". Applicants must have at least one year of experience driving passengers in a bus, hold a B or C class license, and have a CLEAN Drivers Abstract. This would be an immediate start with seasonal, part-time leading to full-time hours, with benefit eligibility and a wage increase after a three-month probation period.
As a Driver, you will
- Transport employees or guests safely to and from the properties.
- Graciously welcome guests with open doors.
- Respond with helpful info about getting around and offer suggestions for local events, points of interest, and activities.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, gassed, and ready to go, noting any malfunction at the first sign.
- Inspects bus to ensure that it is in order and fill out required paperwork at the start of your shift.
- Provide a positive interaction with guests.
- Pick-up/drop-off guests to specific location within hotel policy.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Skills:
- Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a routine.
- Operate vehicle in compliance with all local, provincial, federal and company rules and in accordance with generally accepted practices of safe and defensive driving.
- Do the same task over and over, frequently in the same way.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards guests and hotel associates.
- Great multitasking and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- B* or C* Drivers License & Clean Driver's Abstract
- At least 1 year of driving experience; Driving a Passenger Bus, School, Coach Bus etc.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
