ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Clinical Support Manager, the Visitor Assistant performs reception duties for Hogarth Riverview Manor, Thunder Bay Transitional Unit, and Willow Place.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education/Experience:

Minimum grade 10 education required

Skills/Abilities:

Demonstrates proficient computer and typing skills
Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, residents, families and the public
Ability to work independently
Ability to handle stressful situations
Strong customer service skills and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrated regular attendance at work

Conditions of Employment:

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
Demonstrates reliability and punctuality, with availability to work days, evenings and occasional weekends, as required
