Information Technology Specialist – Infrastructure & Operations

Build and support the infrastructure behind flight operations.
ITPS operates a complex, technology-driven aviation environment supported by our Flight School Management System (FSMS) — an ERP platform that powers training, flight scheduling, maintenance, and procurement.
We are seeking an IT Specialist focused on infrastructure, systems reliability, and operational support to ensure the technology behind our operations is secure, stable, and scalable.
This role is less about helpdesk support and more about owning the systems that keep the organization running.
What You’ll Work On
- Maintain and support the core IT infrastructure across the organization
- Ensure reliability of systems supporting flight operations and internal applications
- Manage networks, devices, and system access across operational teams
- Administer identity and access systems (Microsoft 365, Entra ID)
- Support and maintain environments used by internal applications (ERP and related systems)
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and security
You’ll also play a key role in strengthening our infrastructure by:
- Improving system reliability, monitoring, and backup strategies
- Supporting automation and internal tooling improvements
- Helping integrate new systems and technologies into the environment
- Contributing to security and access control best practices
Your Role
- Own day-to-day infrastructure health and availability
- Manage user access, devices, and system configurations
- Troubleshoot issues across networks, systems, and endpoints
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure and processes
- Work closely with developers to support application environments
- Identify and implement improvements to increase stability and efficiency
Environment
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID)
- Windows-based infrastructure (with some Linux exposure)
- Internal ERP platform (Laravel / React)
- Networked operational and scheduling systems
What We’re Looking For
Core Experience
- Experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of:
- Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Windows environments and administration
- Microsoft 365 / identity management
- Experience managing systems, devices, and access control
Infrastructure Mindset
- Focus on reliability, uptime, and system performance
- Ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers (network, system, device)
- Strong organizational and documentation practices
- Comfortable working independently and prioritizing operational needs
Modern IT & Automation
- Experience or interest in:
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Automation and process improvement
- Monitoring and alerting systems
- Awareness of security best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting application or development environments
- Familiarity with virtualization or cloud platforms
- Experience with endpoint management / MDM tools
- Exposure to regulated or operational environments (aviation, industrial, etc.)
