Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground haulage equipment to support underground production and development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate underground haul trucks in accordance with site procedures and company standards.
- Transport ore, waste rock, and materials throughout the mine.
- Complete pre-operational inspections and accurately report equipment defects.
- Maintain production targets while prioritizing safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other crew members.
- Keep equipment clean and perform routine housekeeping duties.
- Follow all site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core with U0091 (Operate Haulage Truck)
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience operating underground haulage trucks is required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and safety-sensitive testing.
- Mine Rescue certification is considered an asset.
Compensation: $50 - $70 per hour, based on experience.
Location: Timmins, Ontario
Schedule: 5/5/4 with rotating day and night shifts
