Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and hospitality. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food service.
Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety standards and compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate food production to meet service timelines while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Support food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation, and cleanliness of kitchen equipment.
Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality, ensuring excellent customer experiences.
Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste.
Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and restaurant policies.
Collaborate with restaurant management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management within the food industry or hospitality sector.
Supervising experience with team management skills essential for leading kitchen staff effectively.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and staff development.
Extensive restaurant experience with a solid understanding of kitchen operations from prep to service.
