Job Duties:
- create & file detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (Autocad, Solidworks) from customer sketches, conceptual drawings or existing similar drawings into easily understood shop drawings for use by CNC operators and millworkers
- work with shop to problem-solve design and fabrication challenges and use the learnings to improve future work
- ensure the quality and accuracy of drawings produced
- work collaboratively with account manager, estimating department and fabrication shops to ensure a quality end product as per customer specifications
- work quickly to meet aggressive deadlines
Qualifications:
- post secondary education in a related field and/or certification in Autocad or SolidWorks
- minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar industry, retail store fixtures preferred
- strong written and verbal English
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
