About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic, creative, and operationally strong Social Media & Brand Manager to lead and elevate our growing social media department.
This role goes far beyond writing captions and scheduling posts. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a high-volume portfolio of clients, lead client conversations, oversee international production teams, improve workflows, build scalable processes, and continuously evolve our social media offerings.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, project manager, creative thinker, and client relationship manager. You should thrive in fast-paced agency environments, be highly organized, and possess the ability to balance creative execution with operational excellence.
You will work closely with Operations, Account Managers, Sales, and executive leadership while directly shaping the growth and evolution of our social media and Brand Halo services.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Social Media & Brand Management
- Own the execution, quality, and strategic direction of all assigned social media accounts.
- Develop and execute social media strategies tailored to client goals and industry trends.
- Oversee ongoing client account health, ensuring deliverables remain within scope, timelines, and expectations.
- Continuously audit and improve social media service offerings and workflows.
Content Creation & Creative Leadership
- Build monthly social media content calendars for core clients.
- Write engaging social media copy and YouTube video scripts.
- Create polished, on-brand visual assets using Canva, Photoshop, and related creative tools.
- Ensure creative consistency, branding alignment, and visual storytelling across all platforms.
- Support and coordinate photo/video shoots where required.
Team Coordination & Quality Assurance
- Manage and QA content calendars and deliverables produced by international execution teams.
- Coordinate weekly priorities with Account Managers and internal teams.
- Track deliverables, production tasks, and creative tickets using project management systems.
- Maintain and improve SOPs, onboarding documentation, and operational workflows.
Client Relations & Account Growth
- Lead client meetings, monthly reviews, and quarterly strategy sessions.
- Present performance insights, recommendations, and strategic growth opportunities.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable execution.
- Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers on proposals, upsells, and social media recommendations.
Influencer Marketing & Community Growth
- Manage micro-influencer outreach campaigns from sourcing to execution.
- Track influencer communications, deliverables, and campaign performance.
- Support online reputation management and review solicitation initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Build and present monthly and quarterly social media performance reports.
- Analyze engagement, growth, and ROI metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Translate social media data into actionable business insights for clients and internal teams.
- Monitor platform trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Continuously identify inefficiencies and implement operational improvements.
- Help scale the department through improved systems, automation, and AI adoption.
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other LLMs to improve workflow efficiency, content ideation, reporting, and execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar agency-side role.
- Proven experience managing a high-volume portfolio of clients simultaneously (25–39+ accounts).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
- Advanced copywriting and content ideation skills.
- Strong design eye with hands-on experience using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar creative tools.
- Experience creating and editing social-first video content.
- Strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and social media strategy.
- Experience using tools such as HeyOrca, Hootsuite, GatherUp, Canva, Workluge, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with local and international teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience building social media reports and interpreting performance data.
- Deep understanding of platforms including Instagram, Facebook/Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Pinterest.
- Strong understanding of AI tools and how to apply them to modern social media workflows.
- Ability to identify problems proactively and independently develop solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with influencer marketing campaigns.
- Experience conducting client-facing strategy or review meetings.
- Relevant certifications such as:
- Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certificate
- HubSpot Social Media Marketing Certification
- Google Digital Marketing Certifications
- Experience contributing to service development, process optimization, or operational scaling initiatives.
