Experienced CUSTOM Metal Fabricator.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Mechanical/Technical Skills required
- Experience is required for this position- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as a custom fabricator working with ¼” PL and thinner, Stainless Steel, Hot Roll, Aluminum, etc.
- Good knowledge of fractions/ decimals, metric & imperial and accurate measuring is a must have for this position
- Confident reading and interpreting blueprints
- Enjoy helping and training others
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: Read, write & speak the English language fluently
- Police Record Check/Criminal Record Check is required
- Punctuality & excellent attendance is absolutely necessary
- Ability to take job from start to finish
- Quality workmanship
- Work confidently with wide range of hand tools
- Experience in welding (TIG, MIG)
- Operate machinery – shears, press brake, punch, saw, drill
- Perform grinding services to high-quality finishes
- Identify problems and recommend solutions
- Focus on job – be self-motivated
- Ability to measure and layout to close tolerances
- Work independently with minimal supervision and work well with others
- Ability to track your time on jobs & fill out time sheets accurately
- WHMIS training
- MINDFUL OF Safety practices on the job
Strength: Metal fabricators require strength to lift heavy objects during the fabrication/assembly process. Stamina: Metal fabricators are on their feet for long periods of time often doing repetitive motions, bending, etc.
Dexterity: Metal fabricators work with their hands, whether directly manipulating components or using controls on machines.
