Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction and the use of hand and power tools. This role involves performing a wide range of tasks to support construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic work environment.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with concrete forming.
Measure and cut materials precisely for various construction applications.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.

Skills

Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
Experience with carpentry, concrete finishing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and flooring installation.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for diverse construction tasks.
Knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
