We are growing our Quality Control team and looking for a junior professional who is passionate about precision, quality, and making a meaningful impact while getting some experience under their belt. In this role, you will help ensure raw materials, packaging components (labels, cartons, shipping boxes) and Cannabis medicinal products meet regulations, safety, and quality standards while supporting dynamic Quality and Manufacturing environments.

Phyton Biotech determines an individual’s pay based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. The compensation range for this role is $48,000 - $55,000.

A day in the department would include:
· Performs raw material sampling
· Perform routine raw material and packaging material inspections and basic instrument analysis (pH meter, moisture meter, KF titrator)
· Generates SOPs, test methods, deviations, investigations, change controls and certificate of analysis
· Performs review of analytical data
· Performs laboratory housekeeping
· Supports continuous improvement of the Quality Control cGMP systems and Phyton Biotech’s Quality System
Qualifications & Experience:
· 2 – 5 years of Quality Control experience with HPLC/GC required.
· BS in Chemistry or a life-sciences related discipline required.
· Must have hands-on experience working with chemicals and solvents.
· Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is an asset, including food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical production
· Knowledge of ERP and quality management systems an asset
