Miraj Hammam Spa is seeking an experienced and dedicated Spa Therapist / Gommage Attendant to join our team. We are a boutique, intimate spa offering traditional Hammam experiences inspired by Moroccan rituals.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a luxury wellness environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional, detail-oriented guest experiences.
Position Overview
As a Gommage Attendant, you will be responsible for performing traditional body exfoliation treatments within our steam room environment, ensuring each guest receives a relaxing, rejuvenating, and high-quality experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform traditional Hammam body exfoliation (Gommage) treatments using Moroccan black soap
- Work within a high-temperature steam room environment for extended periods
- Prepare and maintain the Hammam and treatment areas to the highest standards
- Provide exceptional, attentive customer service throughout the guest experience
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation protocols are followed
- Assist in creating a calm, welcoming, and luxurious atmosphere for all guests
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of customer service experience (spa or hospitality preferred)
- Ability to comfortably work in a hot, humid steam room environment for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, calm, and client-focused demeanor
- Physically capable of performing body treatments for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
