We are currently hiring for 2nd to 4th Year Apprentice Electricians in Victoria, BC and the surrounding areas. Compensation for this role ranges from $22.35/hour to $32.40/hour, health and dental benefits after three months, and RRSP matching after one year. When you factor these together the total compensation ranges from $24.77 to $35.12/hour.
Responsibilities
- Conduit bending
- Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Drilling and cable-pulling
- Punctual and reliable presence on worksites
- Follow safety programs and policies, wear appropriate PPE, and attend safety training as required
- Present a positive, can-do attitude in the workplace and with our clients
- Cutting in and splicing switches/receptacles/lights
- Use of standard construction power tools
Qualifications
· Must be able to be registered as an apprentice through SkilledTrades BC
- Electrical field experience is required
- Commercial/residential construction experience an asset
- Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
- Valid class 5 driver’s license preferred
- Adequate knowledge of the CEC
- Willing to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts.
