Curiosity Cove Daycare Vulcan, AB is looking for 2 full time educators to join their team. We have an engaging and fun work environment, with an end goal of providing a safe, secure and caring environment for kids as well as peace of mind for parents. We are a family oriented childcare provider in Vulcan, Alberta.
We are hiring 2 full-time childcare educator positions and are looking for someone who loves children and puts their safety and well-being first. We require enthusiastic Level 1, 2 and Level 3 Childhood Educators to join our team. The available positions require work only on weekdays from Monday to Friday, between 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM each day.
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time, 30-40 hours per week
Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 hourly plus Alberta Government Wage Top Up

Paid Christmas week off (After working for 6 months)
Paid sick days and personal days (After 3 months of probation)
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Professional Qualifications:
- Level 1, 2 or Level 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification
- Police Clearance Check/Vulnerable Sector Search. You are required to have a completed PCC/VSS dated no earlier than 6 months prior to starting with the program or be willing to complete another PCC/VSS before starting with the program.
- Standard First Aid/CPR is required.
- Child Intervention Record Check required.
- Childcare experience is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Working with the child education team to engage children through a wide variety of education and recreational activities focused on supporting their social, physical, creative and emotional developmental needs.
- Co-leading a group of children with another child educator.
- Offering ideas for planning activities.
- Providing effective supervision of children at all times.
- Setting up the program spaces and tidying up after the children have left the program.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Attending staff meetings, training, and team building opportunities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
