Bigstone Lot 25 Corporation is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Custodian to join our talented team. Duties and Responsibilities:
· General Janitorial and Maintenance duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, sanitizing floors, washrooms, etc.
· Collect and dispose of trash from the buildings
· Sanitize surfaces: doorknobs/handles, handrails, countertops, tables, chairs, phones, other common items
· Reports observations regarding malfunctions, defects, repair and maintenance and unsafe conditions of the building, fixtures, and equipment
· Perform seasonal cleaning
· Ensuring the office building is secure prior to leaving the building
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, etc.
· Ability to follow proper cleaning and sanitation instruction on all cleaning and equipment supplies
· Ability to follow instructions concerning various chemicals
· Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures
Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma is an asset
· Experience in a Custodial/Janitorial role considered an asset
· Reliable transportation
· Valid WHMIS Certification
