Lead a High-Performing Service Department
We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to lead the Fixed Operations team at our established Ford dealership in Central Alberta. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven automotive leader who is passionate about customer service, team development, and operational excellence.
As Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the service department, including technicians, advisors, warranty administration, customer satisfaction, and productivity. You will play a key role on the dealership's leadership team, helping drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-focused service.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage all service department operations
- Train, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including ELR, labour gross profit, technician efficiency, productivity, and customer retention
- Drive exceptional customer satisfaction and manufacturer CSI results
- Ensure compliance with Ford warranty, service, and operational standards
- Manage workflow, shop capacity, scheduling, and department profitability
- Build strong relationships with customers and employees
- Collaborate with Parts, Sales, and dealership leadership to achieve overall business objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to grow service revenue and customer retention
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Fixed Operations Manager, or a proven track record as a Senior Service Advisor looking for advancement
- Strong understanding of dealership service operations and management
- Ford experience is considered a strong asset
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Demonstrate empathy in dealing with customers or co-workers
- Knowledge of service department KPIs and operational best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
