Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch point through various communication channels.
- Product knowledge, whereabouts, and the ability to explain specific product details.
- Serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system (POS) including processing payments & providing correct change.
- Restock ice cream, general supplies and merchandise as necessary.
- General housekeeping and cleanliness of store.
- Come to work with a positive and professional attitude.
- Prepare orders correctly and within company guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures and standards.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

You are looking for a career in Customer Service:
- You must be a minimum of 14 years of age.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
- You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
- You are attentive to detail and have previous cash handling skills.
- You have the ability to work alone or as in a team environment.
- You are familiar or willing to learn about Food Safe procedures and practices.
- You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
- You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
- You have a flexible work schedule including days, weekends and evenings.
