We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial CFO who can help build the financial infrastructure required to scale nationally.
Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and partner directly with ownership to drive financial strategy, expansion initiatives, operational efficiency, capital planning, and long-term growth.
This is not a traditional accounting role.
We are seeking a leader who can build systems, lead teams, improve financial visibility, and help scale a high-growth organization.
Responsibilities Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute company financial strategy
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management, and reporting
- Build scalable financial infrastructure for multi-location growth
- Create KPIs and dashboards for executive decision making
- Monitor profitability by office, region, and business line
Growth & Expansion
- Support acquisitions and expansion opportunities
- Lead financial due diligence and integration processes
- Assist with capital allocation and growth planning
- Evaluate new market opportunities and expansion models
Operations & Systems
- Improve financial processes and controls
- Oversee accounting leadership and finance team performance
- Drive automation and reporting improvements
- Create scalable systems capable of supporting national growth
Executive Leadership
- Partner with founders and senior leadership team
- Present financial insights and recommendations
- Participate in strategic planning and organizational decisions
- Build financial accountability throughout the organization
QualificationsRequired:
- CPA designation preferred
- 10+ years senior finance leadership experience
- Experience leading multi-entity organizations
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting experience
- Experience scaling rapidly growing businesses
Strong Assets:
- Real estate, franchise, brokerage, or multi-location experience
- M&A or acquisition experience
- Experience supporting national expansion
- Technology/system implementation experience
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Niagara Falls, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
