Nesters Market has a new opening for a Part-Time Juice Bar Service Clerk for our store located in Whistler, BC.
Please note - we are accepting all applications, however preference will be given to people with flexible schedules and open availability.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Taking customer drink/food orders and cashiering
- Preparing a variety smoothies, juice blends, sandwiches & hot/cold entrees
- Be food savvy and able to follow recipe directions, but still have the ability to modify meals based on demand or dietary restrictions
- Ensure excellent food quality, quantity, freshness and presentation
- Stocking displays to ensure adequate levels in the deli department
- Ensure all prepared items are properly labeled, covered and rotated
- Keep department continually clean, well maintained and organized
- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
- To perform other duties, as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Food safe ticket an asset
- Previous retail or customer service experience in a grocery setting an asset
- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
- Superb customer service skills with a desire to provide a great shopping experience for customers
- Willingness and availability to work a variety of shifts, including: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings & Weekends
- Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
- Able to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
- Proven track record as a self-starter; dedicated and goal orientated
- Demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal & conflict resolution skills
- Ability to ensure compliance of established company policy
- Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written
