Landscape Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Technician for our upcoming busy season. This exciting opportunity is temporary from approximately March to October 2026, and is based in our West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada winery location.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to lawn care and maintenance, ensuring that our lawns are healthy, lush, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other treatments following schedules and safety protocols.
- Identify and address lawn issues, such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies.
- Mow, edge, and trim lawns to maintain a neat and professional appearance.
- Aerate, seed, and oversee healthy grass growth.
- Maintain and care for all lawn care equipment.
- Assist with irrigation system setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring proper watering for optimal lawn, plant, and tree health.
- Maintain flower beds, baskets, planters, and trees by watering, weeding, and trimming as needed.
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including watering, pruning, fertilizing, and weeding as needed.
- Install and care for landscape elements, ensuring proper planting techniques and spacing as needed.
- Keep accurate records of product applications and maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate, Diploma or Associate Degree in Horticulture or Landscaping Design is an asset.
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, or golf course maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of fertilizers, herbicides, and pest control methods is required.
- Experience in irrigation is required.
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, quality of work, with the ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

What we offer
The hourly range for this position is $22.40 - $28.00
It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
