Launch a New Business. Build a Territory. Grow Your Income.
Wagonmaster Group is launching an exciting new fleet business initiative and is looking for an experienced Fleet Business Development Representative to develop new commercial fleet customers across Vancouver Island.
Rather than inheriting an existing territory, you'll build this business from the ground up—opening new accounts, establishing long-term customer relationships, and helping shape the future of our growing fleet division.
As the business expands, you'll also have the opportunity to help grow into additional fleet industries and markets, creating significant long-term earning potential and career growth.
We provide premium maintenance solutions that help commercial fleets improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, extend equipment life, and lower operating costs.
This is a consultative business development role—not an account management position.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow a new sales territory
- Prospect and secure new commercial fleet accounts
- Develop relationships with fleet managers, maintenance managers, service managers, shop foremen, and business owners
- Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
- Recommend maintenance solutions that improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Demonstrate business value and return on investment (ROI)
- Manage an active CRM sales pipeline
- Travel throughout your territory building long-term customer relationships

You enjoy opening doors, developing new business, and building long-term customer relationships.
You combine strong business development skills with technical credibility and are comfortable discussing diesel engines, preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and fleet operations with commercial customers.
You may currently sell truck parts, lubricants, chemicals, filtration products, fleet technology, financing, equipment, or other commercial products or services. What matters most is that you've gained solid knowledge of diesel engines, heavy-duty equipment, or commercial fleet maintenance through previous sales, technical, service, or industry experience.

To be considered, you must have:
- Minimum 3 years of fleet sales/business development experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, commercial fleet maintenance, heavy-duty truck systems, preventative maintenance, or equipment reliability

- Ability to communicate technical solutions and demonstrate return on investment (ROI)
