POSITION 1 — GEOTECHNICAL DRILLER’S HELPER
Entry-Level Opportunity | Learn the Trade | Build a Career
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on work, travel, outdoor environments, and long-term career growth in the drilling industry.
No experience? That’s okay. If you’ve got a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the right attitude, we’ll train the right person.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting experienced drillers on geotechnical drilling projects
- Working outdoors in a fast-paced field environment
- Traveling to job sites across Western Canada
- Supporting drilling operations, equipment setup, and site organization
- Learning technical drilling and field skills
- Working as part of a tight, safety-focused crew
What We Are Looking For
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Class 3 License is a major asset
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to travel and work away from home
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Team-oriented and reliable
- Mechanical or labour experience is an asset

POSITION 2 — GEOTECHNICAL DRILLER
Experienced Position | Advanced Equipment | Leadership Opportunity
Already have drilling experience and looking for a solid company with consistent work, strong crews, and opportunities to grow?
Foundex is currently recruiting experienced Geotechnical Drillers with backgrounds in:
- Sonic Drilling
- Mud Rotary
- Air Rotary
- Overburden Drilling
- Rock Coring
- Sampling & Instrument Installation
This role is ideal for experienced drillers who enjoy technical work, operating specialized equipment, mentoring helpers, and working on diverse projects throughout Western Canada.
What You Will Need
- Previous geotechnical drilling experience
- Strong mechanical skills
- Experience with sampling and instrument installation
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Class 3 preferred
- Ability to travel and work out of town for extended periods
- Strong commitment to safety
- Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
