Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for famiy. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable, and capable of creating a safe and engaging environment for children of various ages. This role offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children while supporting their developmental needs. Candidates should enjoy working with kids and possess a genuine passion for caregiving.

Duties

Supervise and monitor children’s activities to ensure safety at all times
Prepare and serve meals or snacks according to family preferences and dietary restrictions
Assist with homework, educational activities, and age-appropriate play
Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up toys and children’s belongings
Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, rules, and discipline strategies
Transport children to appointments, activities, or outings as needed
Provide comfort and emotional support during times of distress or illness
Engage children in creative, physical, and educational activities to promote growth and development

Experience

Prior experience caring for children in a babysitting or nanny role is preferred
Knowledge of child development principles is a plus
First aid and CPR certification are desirable but not required; training can be provided if necessary
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential
A background check may be required to ensure safety and trustworthiness

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
