Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Japanese Speaking Nanny/Babysitter to provide attentive childcare and support in a family setting. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese and possess a genuine passion for working with children. This role involves nurturing, engaging, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children while incorporating cultural language skills. The position offers an enriching opportunity to contribute to a child's development while fostering a bilingual environment.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety at all times
Engage children in educational activities, play, and age-appropriate learning experiences
Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and nap times
Support children with homework or teaching activities in Japanese or other subjects as needed
Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages learning and cultural exposure

Experience

Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or babysitting role is preferred
Experience in teaching or tutoring, especially bilingual or language instruction, is a plus
Familiarity with caregiving for infants is advantageous
Fluency in Japanese is required; basic English is beneficial for communication with the family but is not necessary

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while utilizing language skills in a supportive family environment.

Pay: $19.00-$19.50 per hour
