Who we are looking for:
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities while supporting day-to-day human resources operations. This role focuses on attracting and hiring qualified candidates, administering HR programs, supporting employee relations and other generalist tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions.
- Prepare and post job advertisements on job boards, company websites, and social media platforms.
- Source candidates through various recruitment channels, including referrals, networking, and online databases.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct telephone and virtual pre-screen interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Conduct assessments, reference checks and support background screening processes.
- Prepare employment offers and recruitment documentation.
- Maintain candidate records and recruitment data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Participate in job fairs, support employer branding and manage graduate trainee hires.
HR Generalist Duties
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, and HR-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR records.
- Support employee offboarding, including exit interviews and documentation.
- Assist with benefits enrollment and employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies.
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
- Support attendance tracking, leave administration, and vacation records.
- Assist with performance review administration and employee development programs.
- Support workplace investigations and employee relations matters as directed by management.
- Assist with health and safety initiatives and maintain related records.
- Generate HR reports and maintain HR metrics as required.
- Support payroll administration by collecting and verifying employee information and changes.
- Participate in HR projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in recruitment and general human resources.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
