** MECHANICAL DESIGNER **

Daequip Premium Attachments Ltd. has been growing exponentially in recent years and we are seeking to add a successful candidate to our team.
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
· Performs 2D/3D design drawings and/or detail drawings.
· Develop 2D/3D models illustrating the project and/or the manufacturing methodology.
· Creation of Bill of Materials for all assemblies and sub-assemblies (If needed).
· Make corrections to the drawings, when necessary.
· Provides technical support to production during projects.
· Ensures compliance with the quality assurance program.
· Make technical recommendations, when necessary, to optimize the products designed, as well as the overall operations of the company.
· Train and mentor under the experienced Senior Designers and Engineer.
· Be a team-player, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Qualifications and Experience:
· 3-year Mechanical Design programs are preferable.
· 2 years experience in the field of Heavy Equipment Attachments design/manufacturing is an asset. (Synergies in related field will be considered)
· Knowledge of Basic Hydraulic Systems. (Cylinders and attachment operations)
· Familiarity with manufacturing processes – Metal Fabricating, Welding and Machining.
· Effective attention to detail and a high degree of dependability.
· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and collectively with the team in a fast-paced environment.
· Commitment to confidentiality is essential.
· Strong computer skills including:
o AutoCAD/Inventor (experience with other CAD systems will be considered)
o Microsoft Office – Access, Excel, Word, Outlook
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per year plus optional Overtime Pay (Negotiable based on Direct Industry Experience)
