We are hiring a Millwright Apprentice to join our team in Surrey, BC . Your duties would include:

Reading blueprints and schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) to install machinery and equipment.
Weld and fabricate (machine guards etc)
Troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic
Daily preventative maintenance inspections of production and mobile equipment
Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, bending equipment, shearlines, PLC equipment, overhead cranes, compressors and pneumatic systems
Work with a team or independently
Fabricate parts and equipment
Reporting and record keeping

The qualified candidates will possess the following:

Promotes Safety in the Workplace
Has a good knowledge of precision measuring tools.
Has solid electrical and mechanical experience.
Is able to troubleshoot and address problems as they arise.
Is able to work at different heights.
Is familiar with material handling systems
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Welding and Fabrication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Experienced with hand and power tools
Registered apprentice certification
Ability to travel if required

Wages will be based on experience and the position is available immediately.
