Mission
ACP Applied Products, a division of Canadian Road Builders Inc., is an Alberta-based company specializing in pavement preservation, geomembrane applications, and roadside device installation throughout western Canada.
ACP Applied products based out of Acheson, AB is looking for a reliable individual to safely operate and maintain a variety of road construction equipment, Cold Milling machines, skidsteers & street sweepers.
Main Responsibilities
- 2 + years of experience as an equipment operator
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and fluid levels
- Must own reliable transportation
- Able to work out of town for extended amounts of time
- Transportation, hotels and per diems provided for out-of-town work.
- Ability to work overtime hours
- Must be able to work in uncertain outdoor conditions
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience in construction environments, including paving, concrete forming, or similar fields
- Proficiency in operating milling machines, loaders, excavators, and concrete finishing tools
- Ability to perform commercial driving tasks when required for equipment transport or material delivery
- Strong understanding of safety protocols associated with heavy machinery and construction sites
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards
