Full job description

Pacific Building Components Ltd., a leader in prefabricated wall manufacturing for apartments, single-family, and multi-family homes, is hiring an experienced Wall Panel Assembler to join our team.

Previous experience working in prefabricated wall panel manufacturing or a similar prefab construction environment is required for this position. We are looking for someone who understands prefab production processes and can contribute effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties:

Read and interpret wall requirements according to cut sheets.
Assemble prefabricated wall panels from pre-cut wood.
Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards.
Track project completion at various production checkpoints.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Ensure smooth production flow by working collaboratively with the team.

Requirements:

Previous prefab wall panel manufacturing or relevant prefab construction experience is required.
Thrive in a team-oriented environment with a positive and solution-focused attitude.
Demonstrate punctuality, loyalty, and reliability.
Strive to meet production goals on time and effectively.
Adhere to company safety protocols at all times.
Maintain thorough daily logs and records.
Be self-motivated, resourceful, and willing to take initiative.
Make quick decisions using spatial awareness and coordination.
Excel in a fast-paced environment while following written and verbal instructions.
Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Carpentry or wood framing experience is an asset.
Training will be provided.
