Job Summary

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, staff, and assets. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, controlling access points, and maintaining a secure environment through active surveillance and prompt response to incidents. Your dedication will help foster a safe atmosphere that supports operational excellence and peace of mind for everyone on-site.

Duties

Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the premises, identifying any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
Control access to the facility by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry while inspecting physical security measures such as fences and gates.
Respond swiftly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary to ensure safety.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing and reporting potential theft or inventory shrinkage.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Enforce company policies and safety procedures consistently to uphold a secure environment for all stakeholders.

Skills

Strong background in law enforcement or security operations with an understanding of legal protocols related to security enforcement.
Proficiency in surveillance techniques using CCTV systems for continuous monitoring.
Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail to detect irregularities or potential threats promptly.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
Good communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members and emergency services.
Knowledge of loss prevention methods to minimize theft and inventory loss.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
