The Difference Only You Can Make…

Each day, you’ll drive construction projects forward by overseeing site activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a strong safety culture in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards. You’ll coordinate schedules from staking to possession, leading trade and supply partners to meet timelines and performance expectations. Working closely with the Manager, Estimating, and Design, you’ll monitor progress, address challenges, and adjust plans to keep projects on track without compromising quality or safety. You’ll also foster positive relationships by resolving issues, communicating updates, and guiding homeowners through key milestones—ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and the overall building experience is seamless and positive.

What your day may look like…

Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all builds meet quality standards and safety requirements.
Enforce safety policies and maintain compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Plan and manage construction schedules from staking to possession, ensuring alignment with cycle-time targets.
Lead, direct, and manage the performance of trade and supply partners on-site.
Resolve conflicts among clients, trades, and team members, escalating issues when necessary.
Monitor project progress, provide updates, and adjust plans to meet timelines without compromising quality or safety.
Collaborate with Estimating and Design teams to ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation.
Conduct homeowner meetings at key stages and address concerns throughout the construction process with timely follow-up.

What you’ll bring…

Up to 10 years of directly related experience combined with some leadership experience directing the tasks of others and ability to provide training.
Background in residential construction is required.
Completion of related post-secondary accreditation (Diploma, Degree or Trade Certificate)
Experience managing budgets and timeline targets using prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
Strong customer service skills and a reliable team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong acumen for conflict resolution and trouble shooting.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
