Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast/Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests during breakfast hours. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of the breakfast area, assisting with food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for the overall care and maintenance of hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. A successful Laundry Attendant takes pride in their work, stays organized, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items and beverages.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
Assist guests with their needs, providing excellent guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Prepare simple food items as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Clean kitchen equipment and utensils after use to maintain hygiene standards.
Monitor food quality and presentation, making sure all items are fresh and appealing.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries or requests to enhance their dining experience.
Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest laundry using industrial washers and dryers
Monitor and operate laundry machines according to load specifications
Pre-treat stains and ensure all laundry is cleaned to brand or property standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, linen storage, and related areas
Inspect linens and towels for wear and tear, stains, or damage; report and remove unsuitable items
Keep accurate inventory of clean and soiled linens and report low stock to housekeeping supervisor or manager
Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and transporting food supplies as needed for operations
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
Access to a reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance is mandatory

Qualifications

Reliable transportation and punctuality are required to start shifts promptly at 6:00 AM
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and cleaning.
A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
