Landform is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team.
We're a well-established Calgary commercial landscaping and snow removal company with a large fleet of trucks, heavy equipment, and support vehicles. Unlike many companies in our industry, we keep our mechanics working year-round.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
- Heavy construction equipment, Fleet trucks and support vehicles, Diesel engines Hydraulic systems, Snow removal equipment
- Brands including: Caterpillar, John Deere, Komatsu, Case, Terex, Hydrema, and Wacker
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Complete repairs in both shop and field environments
- Maintain accurate service records
- Assist with parts inventory and shop organization
- Communicate with the Equipment Manager regarding equipment status and repair priorities
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
- Experience with heavy construction equipment and fleet maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License with clean abstract
- Own tools
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday: 40-hour work week
- Overtime available
- Long weekends and most weekends off
- Winter on-call rotation required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $40-$45 per hour depending on experience
- Overtime after 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week
