Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator at our fueling station. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming experience for every customer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse patrons, manage sales transactions, and provide top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your multitasking abilities and attention to detail will help keep operations running seamlessly while promoting safety and satisfaction.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles promptly and accurately
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transactions
Conduct product demos and upsell items such as snacks, beverages, or car accessories to enhance customer experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station, including merchandising displays and convenience store areas
Monitor fuel levels, check for leaks or safety hazards, and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or services offered
Manage time effectively to serve customers efficiently during busy periods while maintaining high standards of service

Requirements

Previous Gas station experience preferred
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, and customer service best practices
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Friendly phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers confidently
Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
