JOB TITLE: Locum Clinical Pharmacist (Injection & OAT Certified)
LOCATION: Northern Alberta (Rural/Remote Community)
DURATION: October 5th, 2026 – January 29, 2027
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (NO Weekends!)
RATE: $100.00 per Hour (Guaranteed)

Swap city congestion for the Northern Lights! We are looking for a confident, self-sufficient Pharmacist to lead a busy, high-volume practice in a welcoming Northern Alberta community. This five-month locum assignment is a strong financial opportunity—one that can help you build your savings quickly while surrounding yourself with stunning northern scenery.

Key Figures:

Weekly gross: $4,000 (40 hours)
Estimated contract total: ~$88,000–$92,000 for only 5 months

What You'll Do:
As the lead pharmacist in a bustling dispensary filling roughly 300 prescriptions daily, you will need to maintain accuracy and composure under pressure while taking on full clinical responsibilities.

Injection certification is required, and you must be comfortable administering immunizations—this service is in high demand locally.
Experience with Methadone/Suboxone and OAT programs is essential; you will support these patients on a daily basis.
Technicians and assistants offer full support, but you will be the primary clinical decision-maker.

Requirements:

Active Alberta Pharmacy License or immediate eligibility.
Active Injection Certification.
OAT experience (comfortable with Methadone/Suboxone maintenance).
Ability to manage a high-volume dispensary (300+ rx/day) with speed and precision.
Availability for the entire contract: August 16, 2026 – January 29, 2027 (no breaks/vacations mid-contract).
