We currently have an exciting opportunity as an Distribution Center Coordinator (DCC). This role is based in our Edmonton Distribution Centre in and reports to the Distribution Centre Manager .

Job Summary

The Distribution Centre Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse and yard. This position oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, and team coordination to meet customer expectations and operational goals. The DCC provides frontline leadership, promotes a strong safety culture, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and service standards
Monitor workflows and proactively address potential service gaps
Support and guide warehouse and yard teams, including scheduling, productivity, and performance feedback
Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, investigations, and system updates
Promote and maintain a safe work environment in compliance with Health & Safety and C-TPAT requirements
Resolve operational issues and customer concerns effectively
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
Maintain organized yard and warehouse operations, including proper storage and material handling
Collaborate with logistics, production, and customer service teams

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with RF systems or SAP is an asset
Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations
Forklift experience and First Aid certification are assets
Ability to pass a background check as required
