Job Summary:
Mount Norquay is hiring a Summer Lift Attendant Supervisor for the Summer season! If you enjoy leading a team, providing excellent customer service, and working outdoors, we are looking for you! This is an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in the beautiful Canadian Rockies while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Duties
- Supervising and supporting the daily operations of the Summer Lift Attendant team
- Ensuring guests are safely loaded and unloaded while adhering to all operational and safety procedures
- Monitoring lift operations and ensuring all procedures are followed consistently
- Training, mentoring, and providing guidance to Lift Attendants
- Providing excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns in a professional manner
- Assisting with staff scheduling, breaks, and daily task assignments
- Communicating operational information and responding to situations through the radio system
- Assisting with ticket scanning and guest flow management as required
- Supporting the department with maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive work environment
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience required
- Previous work at a ski resort considered an asset
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to perform tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Wear company uniform at all times and adhere to grooming policies
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively in a team environment
